Mikolaj Budzanowski Nominated As New Privatization Head
Donald Tusk, Poland’s Prime Minister is going to recommend Deputy Treasury Minister Mikolaj Budzanowski as the head of the ministry managing state properties and their privatization, according to two sources that informed Reuters on Thursday. Prime Minister Tusk, whose mainstream, Civic Platform had earned succeeding four-year tenure in an October election, is anticipated to proclaim his new cabinet later on Thursday. Budzanowski, who will take the place of Aleksander Grad at the helm of the treasury ministry, was accountable for the energy division and supervising state-linked refiners PKN Orlen and Lotos, in addition to the country's prevalent gas control PGNiG.
